In the Garden of Trees

In the Garden of Trees

In the Garden of Trees is where you will find the spring bees. Nature is waking up after its long winters nap, a time to see bees working their magic as they pollinate the earth going from tree to tree. Video Link to see pollen falling from all these bees, Link Here; In the Garden of Trees

We were camping under a tree and one morning I woke up and went outside and could hear a loud humming noise but could not see anything. Until I looked very closely at the tree hanging over me, it was filled with bees. Video below of pollen falling from the bees in trees or click on this link here; In the Garden of Tree

I got my camera out and to my eyes surprise, through the morning light, a glow appeared around the bees and pollen was falling ever so lightly all around me.

  1. I enjoyed your video and these pictures Sandra – the bee up close was my favorite as I think I could count the little hairs on that body and felt like I could reach out and touch the antennae.

      1. I have a high school friend who lives in North Carolina and she has posted pictures on Facebook of the yellow pollen that coats everything this time of year – she hoses her deck and car down several times a day.

  2. Usually, bees scare me to death (childhood trauma), and just looking at pictures of them up close is unnerving, but I get their importance in the whole circle of life thing. So they’re cool, in their way.

    1. I hear you, I have been stung a few times. But these bees were so busy doing their thing, they did not bother us and there were so many of them.

    1. Yes, we noticed the bees one morning and pollen all over our chairs so I sat down at the picnic table with my camera, and when I looked in the view finder I could see the pollen. The sun light was just right. Pretty cool 😊

  4. I’m really under the spell of the pollen that spreads in the atmosphere. I’ve never seen that, it’s splendid!
Trees with yellow flowers are real gold mines for bees.

    1. Yes, they are. I am glad you were able to see the video. Others have mentioned it did not show up on the post. It was amazing to see the pollen falling, but I could only see it through the camera. What a wonderful thing to witness. 🙂

    1. Thank you Sandy, I just added the link to the post and another video to the post and another video to it. Someone else mentioned the video wasn’t there.

    1. Thank you Rudi, it was such a surprise to see that many bees, I have actually never seen that many hard at work and when I looked through the camera, the pollen was like snow, but I could only see it through the camera.

  5. The video doesn’t show on the wp reader, only a link. If not for the prev comment, I wouldn’t even know you had included one.

    1. Thank you for telling me, I just looked and it is on mine when I look at my phone bit I will add the link in the first paragraph as well. 😊

  6. Wonderful video Sandra, very well made. So true about the bees, and sadly in many places there numbers are declining due to toxic poisons for other insects. In our country birds are the major pollinators of native trees, though with the introduction of bees from Europe much of introduced agriculture is done by bees. Our very tiny native bees do not sting, and are limited in their ability to pollinate. The devastating ‘black summer’ bushfires in the last 2 years here have pushed 11 species of our bees into the threatened classification.

    1. I did not know that, I have heard that bees are diminishing here as well. But I do see a lot of bee farms scattered here and there. I was so surprised to see these trees at this park completely covered in bees. Our camp chairs were full of pollen every morning and the sound of so many was a delight to hear. I just sat at our picnic table and recorded them in front of me. 🙂
