Ocean Vessels
Ocean Vessels on the Gulf Coast. Shipping containers are spotted quite often heading south on the gulf coast. Occasional dredgers being pulled across the bay and barges going back and forth.
Always makes for some interesting sights when out walking on the beaches.

Those container shops are so huge that I am in awe that they don’t sink. Remember when the one was stuck in the canal – it was amazing to watch them try to get it turned around.
Yes, there is just so much weight on them. Engineering marvels for sure.
Love the way you capture those massive ocean vessels. I never tire of watching them go by.
Thank you Erika, I love watching them as well. 🙂
Always interesting to see ships coming and going. I especially liked the close-up front view.
I love watching them as well. Thank you Debbie.
What part of the gulf coast? I have been walking down the Galveston beach this morning. Lots of ships coming in and out of the channel.
These are going in and out of Mobile bay in Alabama.
All of our online orders are on those vessels.
Yes they are, and it looks kind of empty, not a full load on this ship. 😊
Impressive… 💙🚢💙🙏
Thank you very much Francine 😊 ☺️
Thank you Rudi, yes that is one of my favorite shots looking at the front of the ship. Have a great day also 🙂
Great captures Sandra, they certainly pile those container ships high.
Yes they do, ☺️
I’m always amazed at the size of these. They dwarf the Navy destroyer I served on – and at the time, I thought that while it was not a large Navy ship, it was still a big vessel….
Yes, and these here are the smaller ones when it comes to container ships.
