New Bird in Mississippi
New Bird in Mississippi – this little one is named a Warbling Vireo. I have lost count exactly how many birds I have photographed. I do know it is over 250. I might have to start a new list.

Congrats on the bird! I am guessing you were actually in its presence a lot more times than you realized it and guessing now if you heard its call you will be noticing it more often now. They have a way of fooling me in the field as I’ll often mistake them for Red-Eyed Vireos with their eyeline until I hear them call.
Yes,the Cornell Merlin bird app sure does help.
Nice 🤣😎🙃

What a pretty bird and I can almost hear that warble by looking at the pictures.
They have a beautiful sound. 🙂
I love hearing birds singing … that Song Sparrow I saw in the marsh was singing so loud you could hear it everywhere, such a tiny bird too.
Beautiful close up photos Sandra! Awesome!!
Thank you very much Suzette 🙂
The song of the bird is lovely too.
It is Sherry 🙂
