It reminds me of the little log cabin at Heritage Park. Fall is so fleeting – it’s best to catch it when you can. I’m glad I got out a lot in late September and then in October, because I don’t like what the weather is like now at all. Tomorrow it will be 0 when I get up – it was almost 0 this morning. We had freezing rain last night again.

These are great. You’re gifted. It’s kind of a drag, though, that the best of my favorite season has mostly passed (captured for me in the sunset photo). The photo of the log house especially illustrates the season and calls to mind the distant past and so many previous autumns.
