In reply to Sandra. Sandra, I was hopeful to see them as I know they will migrate in a couple of months. I sent you a flyer from Detroit Audubon (now called Detroit Bird Alliance) showing the white pelicans at Point Mouilee. And their field trip this week goes to the same area of the marsh where I was (it is a large marsh and land) ... I guess they were fishing on the other side which I understand has bald eagles.

I like all these bird photographs Sandra – you do such a wonderful job. In looking at your White Pelican, I now realize what I thought I saw today on my excursion to Pointe Mouilee, was most likely a seagull. 🙂
