Little Birds Taking Cover

Little Birds Taking Cover where ever they can find it on the beach before a storm. As these little guys try and hide behind this rock as the winds blow sand and debris across the beach. They hover together and hide their faces in their feathers to protect their eyes.

They learn to adapt. Amazing birds. Have a great weekend.

  1. They are so cute … a photographer from the U.K. goes to Titchfield Haven, a bird sanctuary – these are his favorite birds to watch. I never see them here, Google tells me we have them in the Spring.

    1. I love watching these little ones. They move so fast and yet they come right up to you. We are on the island down here, I don’t know if you have heard. But there has been two house fires on the island within a week of each other. Burnt to the ground. It is rather nerve racking to be here when you here of fires and seeing the video of the flames. Plus the first one was during 40 mile an hour winds.

      1. I had not heard about the fires – that is rather shocking. Last time we were there we finally got a chance to explore the beaches as the end that were flooded the previous time we had been there. They definitely have their share of bad luck.
