Lighting and Pet Portraits
Lighting and Pet Portraits – both of these photos are of the same mule. Lighting can make such a difference for your subject. Soft warm colors, or shinny bright colors.
Photography has a world of opportunities to create different looks. That is what I love about it. Everyday is a new challenge and new opportunities to create art with just one click.
Have a great weekend.

Beautiful, the pictures make me wish I was standing in front of the sweet horse as I pet him.
I sure could learn a few things from your posts Sandra – as I go thru all my photos, I am disappointed in what I thought would be great pictures of swans … I will learn more when I have more time.
I guess this mule felt pretty special with all the attention you were giving her. 🙂
Yes, this one loves attention 🙂
I have a fellow blogger who likes donkeys … she has Multiple Sclerosis and and does informational topics on the medical consequences and how she lives with MS. She is only 30 years old and was diagnosed maybe three or four years ago. She does her post around a stuffed donkey named “Dizzy”. This is because MS causes you to be very dizzy.
The mule is pretty but I like your new icon pic as well.
I see the difference with the lighting Sandra. That is a handsome-looking mule; it looked like a horse at first glance.
It sure is a nice one. They are great for the children to learn how to ride on as well.
It looks so much taller than a donkey, more like a horse.
Very nice, Sandra.
Thank you very much Don ☺️

Thank you Sandra ! Have a great weekend !
Thank you very much Francine ☺️ 😊
I wouldn’t have thought that was the same mule. Both look different effects used.
Same!
Yes, without that direct light it gives a much softer look.
