Last Falls Deer
Last Falls Deer – Autumn is approaching fast, I have a few leaves starting to turn color all ready. I do believe fall is my favorite season.
Here are just a few photos of last years deer as I wait to see this years new babies enter my yard for their portrait to be taken.

Those pesky deer flies are biting those poor deer. I always like when the deer swivel their head around to stare at you like this one is doing. There are already red leaves on some of the bushes and saplings along the shore of the Ecorse Creek at the Park. Fall has always been my favorite season – some welcome coolness after a hot Summer. And the prettiest season in my opinion.
Yes, some of the leaves are turning color here already as well
That’s really something – I’ll bet the drought made them turn even more quickly.
I like the “whatchyoulookinat” photo. I had one similar today while riding my bike. Mom stopped dead in the middle of the road and watched me approach. I grabbed a handful of brakes and slowed while she signaled to the twins to cross behind her, away from me. They quickly scampered across the road, and once safely between some trees, mom quickly followed yielding the road to me again. I had to wonder whose living in whose domain.
Lol, that is so true. I love it when mom does her loud snort thing warning the others. That really echoes in the woods.
Or a subdivision.
The deer look healthy in those photos Sandra. How are they doing this year?
Yes, I will have photos next week of this year’s fawns and mom’s. They have finally started coming out of the woods. They look really good. So nice to see the fawns play and run like they don’t have a care in the world.
Great to hear Sandra, looking forward to them
Have a wonderful afternoon Eddie. Hope your weather is good there. I am heading outside to enjoy the warm sunshine now while it is out.
Some rainy days finally. Needed it badly.
A bit of Bambi butt for us.
Lol, yes, they seem to like turning away from the camera. Just like my dogs and my cat.
No butts about it.
It doesn’t matter how many times I see deer, it’s always a thrill. Great shots, Sandra!
Thank you very much, I find them to be such beautiful animals. Amazing how high they can jump.
Very nice photos of a beautiful animal!
Thank you Marland, they are such a beautiful animal
Yes, I just returned from my morning walk, during which I saw two fawns in the woods beside the trail!
How wonderful, that makes a walk so fun to see animals along the way.
Great shots Sandra, they’re beautiful creatures! 👌😁❤️
Beautiful photos
Thank you very much 🙂
Thank you Ken, 🙂
