In reply to Sandra. I would think it would be nice. I once encountered a group of Monarchs coming through Council Point Park. There was maybe a dozen fluttering on by and then they all alighted in a cedar tree - nothing there to drink, so they moved on. I saw a Monarch sitting on a fence today as I was walking home from the Park today.

Excellent post, Sandra. Thank you. Every “wild” creature created by God has a purpose. Those comparatively lower echelon members of Creation overall nevertheless have a free will and when they fulfill their purpose as seen here in your wonderful photos and video they bring praise to God. How else can monarchs, for example, complete such long arduous journeys each year unless fitted, supplied, and given marching orders by a higher power? They know exactly what to do, where to go, how to gain nourishment, and how and where to fly in all kinds of weather with a brain the size of a dot.

Great story. I have a monarch garden. I birthed at least fifteen butterflys this year. I even saw one emerge from it's crysilys and take it's first flight. Way Cool!!!
