Lake Superior at Sunset
Lake Superior at Sunset, we made it up to the big lake a couple of times this past summer. Sunset is always beautiful across the lake. it is like the little ocean of the north to me.
The water is cold and clear with lots of forest lining the highway along the beaches.
Colored rocks galore.
But in the winter, this lake is amazing. With ice breaks piling up along the shore lines and of so cold when the wind is blowing across the lake.
Brrrrrr, I am glad we can go south for the winters these days.

Been to Lake Superior a couple of times – unfortunately each time we have been ran out of there by black flies. Probably just going there at the wrong times ha.
Yes, the black fly’s can be very bad up at the lake and they bite.

Not winter already! We’ve barely started Fall (or Autumn). Great snaps of something that is, hopefully, months away still.
I wish months away, we have snow in the forecast for the end of the month. We live near Lake Superior. 😊
