I love it RJ, thank you so much for doing this. I will treasure this in my book of poems. Words have never really been my strong point. I find the English language to be a mystery at times, meaning there are so many different meaning to certain words yet some professions like lawyers seem to have there own language. I find reading the Hebrew Bible very intriguing to me, it seems to make more sense in their words when it comes to scripture. If you study it. I hope you do not mind, Sandra, but I took on this great poem of yours and made just a few minor changes to enhance it. I spend much time editing my own work and am somewhat an editor at heart. I enjoy it. Your poem primarily contains eight syllables per line so I started there, making every line contain eight syllables. I think this makes it flow better. I replaced or removed only a few words with new words to make this work including removing some commas and periods. I also put your work in stanzas to fit it to the poetic art form and better reflect the sentiments you so wonderfully expressed. This is by no means necessarily a better work than your original by only my interpretation using a mere few edits. I hope you like it. Blessings

In Twilight’s hush where whispers drift
The storm clouds weave a gentle shift
Like ghosts in realms of azure seas
They float with enigmatic ease

With edges brushed in shades of grey
They roam the sky—a brief ballet
Their wispy tendrils tease the night
An airy dance of shadowed light

They gather slow with sighs of lore
A murmured tale of tempest’s core
Yet in their grace a calm prevails
An artful play where stillness sails

No thunder’s roar or lightning’s claim
Just drifting clouds with no ill aim
They kiss the heavens, drift and part
An endless play of storm and heart

Their fleeting forms in twilight blend
A moment’s breath that ere transcends
In wispy trails their stories told
Of storms unbound and skies unrolled

Thank you RJ, I have always wanted to write poetry, buy my words did not always want to come together the way I wanted them to. I normally let my photo speak for themselves, but on occasion the words in my min, as I look at a photo, start coming together in a rhythmic form. Along with the help of the internet, my thoughts come to life in poetry now and than. Just like my digital paintings, I cannot paint at all on paper, but technology has allowed me to express my desire to paint through digital applications. A wonderful way to express an art form that highlights our Fathers true beauty. 🙂
