In the Arms of an Angel

In the Arms of an Angel

In the Arms of an Angel, this photo reminded me of this song by Sarah Mclachian.

In the arms of an Angel, fly away from here, From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie You’re in the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here

In the Arms of an Angel

I have shared some poems in the past, written by a very talented writer named Daryl Madden. He has a blog page here on word press where he writes the most beautiful poems inspired by other folks post. I treasure the words he writes when he chooses one of my post to create a poem with. https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/23196989

I then like to add his words to one of my videos. The result is below or click this link here; IF I

    1. Thank you very much Kellye, he is such a good writer. He can take just a title and make a beautiful poem with it.

    1. We actually got here on January 1st and spent our winter here. I usually don’t write where I am when I am still there. We left a few days ago. It was pretty slow for birding at first. But the last few weeks did not disappoint at all. I just wrote my list out of all the birds and it came to 42 new birds. This is my first year near a migration route. It was so fun. The last one I photographed was the great crested fly catcher. Someone actually saw a Cerulean warbler at shell mound when we were there. But I did not see it.

      1. Yep, Ron and were chasing down that Cerulean at Shell as well – ended up missing it by about 10 seconds as it flew over our head and we never saw it again. The first few days we were there it was pretty disappointing, but then on that Friday, all the Scarlet Tanagers flew in (at least 30 to 40 of them just streaming over our heads), then the warblers started showing up including that Cerulean and several others.

        1. It sure was fun, I never saw that many Tanagers, just one. They did some banding I heard at goat tree park and caught a few painted bunting, I never saw one of those. I drove all over looking for the Indigo Bunting when it arrived. Could not find it. Husband and I sat outside one evening by our camper and two of them landed on the picnic table. So I got lots of photos of those two. I have never seen such a pretty blue.

          1. We found the two Painted Buntings hanging out with about 20 Indigos right across from the Goat Tree – next to the large Class-A motor home. If you took the path just to the right of it there were some trails and more importantly a feeder where they were all hanging out.

            1. Ah, we only went to the goat tree once. After they did one of their banding things. We were there the next day and not one bird. So we never went back there.
