How Many Doodles in a Poodle
How Many Doodles in a Poodle – So cute, I was out for a walk and here comes this long legged beautiful black and white dog with his owner. So one has to ask what kind of dog it is and how old and may I take his picture.
Well, come to find out the owner was telling me that this Poodle Doodle has 4 or 5 different doodles in it. They did a DNA test to find out what exactly kind of dog it is.
It has Labradoodle of course, and some Doodleman, Golden Doodle and just a poodle doodle and one other doodle they were not sure of. Whew, that is a lot of doodles, but wait.
Come to find out there are as of now over 52 different kinds of doodle dogs.
Poodles are one of the most popular breeds in the world, coming in as the seventh most popular dog in the United States. These fantastically fluffy friends are known for often being best in show across all categories. And itβs no wonder whyβ Poodles are super dang cute with their curly low-shedding coats, sparkling eyes, and animated expressions. This is one of the reasons breeders started crossbreeding them for some of these awesome hybrid pups!
Here are just a few of the names they have; Foodle, Sheepadoodles, Bernedoodle, Ausiedoodles, Irish doodle, Yorkie Poo Doodle. That last one is a good one.
No this one is a great name, Schnoodles
Have yourselves a fun doodle day. π and a great weekend.

I love poodles and doodles <3
This is great! I am enjoying every single one of your posts. π€
Thank you so much Katherine, I appreciate that and have a wonderful day π
Wow! 52 different doodles or as I like to endearingly call them “Doodle Poos.” Who knew. Those owners must have enjoyed reading their pups DNA results. Over the years Adi and I have met an array of doodle-poos but the most fascinating one was a friendly gent called a “Woodle” (Wheaton Terrier/Poodle). Our neighbor has taught our eldest daughter how to groom their Labradoodle. She has quite a knack for it. I told her it’s an occupation she should seriously consider as the doodle population will keep her well employed. Happy New Year!
Happy new year to you Beth. Amazing dogs they are. π
I am poodle-doodle confused! Very cute, tho…
Ha ha – he’s a cutie pie and I had no idea there were so many doodles around. A fellow blogger has a Labradoodle and its name is Munch. Munch is Zena’s seeing eye dog. They live in Wales and she writes about her adventures with Munch who does his seeing eye duties while “in harness” but is a bit on the quirky side and mischievous side … her stories are often funny. She has even written a book, which she has done using a machine and she responds to comments and comments on blog posts using a special device.
Beautiful!
Thank you very much π π
Sandra, you do such great portraits! I am so happy with mine of Jasper! He is adorable. I love him so much. I think that green coat makes him look like he is a superhero dog (and he sure is my hero). You did such a great job with his pictures! I wish we were close to you in proximity at some point so you could take the actual photo. I am sure it would blow my mind how amazingly you would capture my baby. Thank you again. Your work is phenomenal! Hugs! Best wishes for a Happy New year!!!!!
Thank you very much, I appreciate you saying that. I thought the green coat looked like a cape as well. It worked perfectly. One never knows, we pass through your state of and then when heading back to the UP. Of Mich. You will have to message me what part of the state you live in. We don’t head north again until May or June. Happy new years to you as well.
Oh, my. I had no idea there were so many types of poodles. I have a grand-dog that is thought to be a labradoodle, but who know for sure.
I know Mary, I never even think of a poodle when I got my last 2 dogs. They don’t shed, and that is probably really nice.

I adopted a doodly dog in May. I’m going to do a DNA test soon to find out her combo. Whatever she is, she is the love of my life.
So nice, I will be looking at those for our next dog for sure. π
Thanks for explaining Sandra.
Have a lovely day and greets.
Thank you and have a wonderful day as well π
