Horses at the Fair. I have a couple more photos to share. They are from my visit to the small town fair in Iowa. I went to the fair recently.
I showed horses in my younger days. It was so much fun getting together with other like-minded people. We enjoyed a day or two of hanging around with some very beautiful horses.
They spent some time working on this horses mane below. Lots of rubber bands. Very pretty.

I love to photograph rodeos!
There was some well trained horses at this one.
These are beautiful horse photos Sandra, especially the portraits. That braiding must take a long time – I hope they undo the braids after the show? That’s a nice action shot of the horse and the girl going around a barrel, almost sideways.

I must admit to a great sadness. It has been so long since I was able to be around horses. I grew up with horses. I miss them.
I know what you mean Don, I raised horses all during my younger years. I am so glad my niece has some so I can be up close to them again and go to horse things with her.
