Her Favorite Time of Year

Her Favorite Time of Year

Her Favorite Time of Year – Her eyes almost match the background. Our little cat is 7 years old this year. We were not looking to have a cat as a part of our family. This one was a stray and found as a kitten in the middle of winter years ago.

I could not say no to her and she has grown into a wonderful cat who gets along with dogs very well and loves to travel with us. But her favorite thing to do is go outside and sit on the porch railing and watch the birds and enjoy the sunshine on these cooler fall mornings.

I forgot to put the video on yesterday of the Blue Jays until later in the morning. So here is the link to it again, which includes footage of the White Squirrel as well. Blue Jay and White Squirrel

  1. Cats give the most profound looks. Her markings and eyes are stunning. I love that your cat joins the dogs on your RV excursions. We take our cat along with the dogs on the four hour trip to visit my parents. Their house has become her second home.

    1. Yes, cats have their own special looks. She can look perturbed or like she is in deep thought. Dogs always just look happy.

  2. What an absolute sweetheart! πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ We didn’t plan on having a cat either – Virgil belonged to the neighbour, who didn’t look after him well and then suddenly they one day up and left, but left behind the cat. I see it as a blessing, and at least I know I’ll look after him better than he ever was before. Ditto in your situation, so I’m glad she has such a wonderful home. It’s amazing she gets on well with dogs and will travel, neither of which Virgil would dream of doing! πŸ˜†

    1. Pets are a true gift and especially those we were not planning on having but we’re put in front of us to care for. 😊😊

  3. Your kitten has a sweet and intelligent look. It can be seen that she is used to observing the world around her.
Of course she gets along well with dogs. No wonder.

  4. Your cat is a beauty, I would like to hold and pet her.
Mine was a stray too and she lived with us for 19 years! She was about 20, when we had to ΓΆut her down, due to illness. This was 4years ago and I miss her very much! Enjoy yours as long as possible!
As for the Blue Jays – while I was watching your video, β€žmineβ€œ were at our feeder!
    Kindes regards,

    1. Thank you very much Christa, yes our pets do not live long enough so we have to enjoy every minute with them. 😊
