Happy Winter Chickadees
Happy Winter Chickadees – I only took a couple of photos of these little ones this year. They always bring a smile to my face. Just so cute. I don’t see them down south, so I do enjoy their visits at home.

so cute!
Thank you Patrick ๐
Great birds to see either on photo or with your eye!
Yes they are, such cute little birds and quite friendly.
Love them
They are so sweet Sandra – I love Chickadees. The first pic, was it molting or a windy day – its feathers look a bit ruffled.
Yes it was windy, ๐
Give that Chickadee a dab of hair gel!
They are so precious! Thanks for sharing.
You are very welcome Jan ๐
Great images.
Thank you very much ๐
Great post
Adorable! I don’t think I’ve ever seen one, but of course we live in the South.
They are so cute. They like the north country for sure. ๐
I love the chicadees. Around here they’re bold enough to take a seed from your hand. ๐คฃ๐๐
I have heard that about them. They do let me get close to them at the feeders. Such fun little birds.
We are lucky to have Black-caps year round.
Yes, they are fun to photograph in the winter with snow all around. Makes for pretty Christmas cards.

Thank you very much Francine ๐
Nice! Are they Black-Capped Chickadees or Carolina Chickadees? Here they say the Black-Capped Chickadees aren’t seen below Highway 30 which is 25 miles north of us! It seems like Merlin can the difference, but I sure can’t. Maybe I need to listen to their sounds on my Merlin app, so I can tell the difference! Have a great week. Stay warm and dry!
I believe they are the black capped, we are heading a little farther south today. ๐
We are definite chickadee fans. They are so animated and cuddly looking.
I think so also Pam, I love their chirping..
