Goslings Out for a Stroll
Goslings Out for a Stroll, a clear bright morning down by the river as the goslings are out for a walk.
Short video below of Geese or Click here; Goslings
Parents are not to far away. These to were getting dive bombed by a small bird in the tree. The one kept turning its head sideways like a dog does with a loud noise.

So cute π
Adorable!!!
They are always so cute. π
Love to watch geese.
Me to, π
Sandra, βmyβ geese and their goslings left the Park about a month ago as they started losing their flight feathers, so they hightailed it down to the River, where they are safe from land predators until they can fly again. I kind of miss their cantankerous ways and when they return with their goslings, it will be difficult to tell which one is the parent and which are the younger version. There can never be enough baby animal and bird photos. π
I have not seen many geese this year. They should start flying over again here as the weather changes.
Right now they are molting so I’ve not seen any flying for about a month – it takes about six weeks for their molting process. They usually return in August so it may be the same for your geese too.
hey
lovely blog hope all is well
happy blogging.
Thank you very much π
Fine photos!
Thank you very much π
Gotta like photos of any baby bird. Even relatively huge babies like these.
Yes, always so cute. π
Such cute photos, Sandra! I love Canada geese. They grace us with their presence in the fall and stay through the winter. Then all of a sudden they’re gone.
Yes, you get to see them the opposite of when I see them. The babies are so cute.
We only see Canada Geese here during migration. Great to see the family photos!
Hello Wally, I only saw a handful this spring and the babies are always so cute.
Fine photos and mini adventures Sandra
Thank you very much Eddie, yes just a stroll through a small town park can be an adventure. Have a wonderful afternoon Eddie.
It’s wonderful how they pop up like that!
I look out the window and see a couple flocks on the grass.
Nice, I haven’t seen as many this year. Except for these.
So cute ! πππ¦πππ
They sure are , π
Itβs difficult to identify them at this juvenile stage as Canadian Geese , it will be interesting to watch there plumage changes Sandra
Yes, and they change so fast. They are in their goofy teenage years already.
When I lived in Edinburgh we had the pleasure of Canada geese and their goslings visiting every year. They’re lovely π
They are so cute when they are little. π
