Growing up in cotton country, which became soybean country, I have seen a lot of ways in getting cotton to the gin. I have seen hay rolls, but this is new for me. The trailers with a cloth lid, leaked a lot more cotton as backroad speeds than these did at interstate speeds. So, it is a marked improvement. “First Bale” was always a prized accomplishment at the gin – front page news in the newspaper. You have brought back many memories. In west Texas, my wife had picked cotton by hand in her youth to make money which she bought candy with it and her little sisters had their fill. I picked a little, but never to get paid, just for the experience.

That’s amazing to see and one looks like it is out of kilter just a little – hope that doesn’t mean it might tip over down the road?
When they harvest cotton in the small farms it’s almost like half the crop blows down the road… like snow 😳
Fun 🤣😎🙃
I was amused till I watched the vid and saw them being a traveling traffic jam (both lanes, parallel, same speed).
Yes, it took him awhile.to pass, but he went way ahead once he got going. 🙂
After a lifetime of commuting on SoCal freeways, traveling traffic jams are a pet peeve of mine!
I bet, for my husband as well. I drove semi years ago and they are good at blocking roads as well.
