Fog and Sunshine Photography

Fog and Sunshine Photography, this time of year there are a lot of foggy days in the south. Which I love for photography. This blue heron is perched on a pole with some heavy fog behind him that gives a wonderful blurred background to this photo.

But, sunshine is a photographers best friend when it comes to enhancing detail in your subjects. We have taken up fishing here, well I shouldn’t say we, husband has taken up fishing and I go along with my camera. Because birds and fishing go hand in hand. They like to be close to the people fishing just in case they can catch a free meal.

This allows me to have some great photo opportunities of these birds close up and personal.

  1. These. Are. Awesome. Beautiful bird. Excellent photography. You have captured that moment in time. It’s like being there Sandra. Thanks

    1. You are very welcome RJ, thank you. Yes, that is how I look at photography, capturing moments in time that can not be duplicated. It is so exciting for me to be a part of photographing nature for this reason.

  2. That fog makes for an amazing background. I like the Heron up close … thinking how fearful fish must be when they see that big pointed beak coming at them and they know they will be dinner.

    1. Yes, this one heron sat on this post for the longest time. After I left another photographer took the same photo of it.

  3. Fantastic photos, Sandra. Herons are such beautiful birds, here we have some great blue herons, and I often see them fly to the river nearby.
    They have an impressive wingspan…
Thank you, Sandra. Have a wonderful day.

    1. Yes Francine, I do love seeing their wing spans as well. That is when you can really see their blue gray feathers as well.

  4. 💜 This is Awesome EveryOne; it’s exactly what Equitable Connections ARE ALL about, I AM Going Off on a Tanget EveryBody; it is Crystal 🔮 😀 👍🏾 👏🏾 😉 👌🏾 🔮 Clear Clarity to Me that Sandra J and Her Husband have a Connection, Their Relationship, while it is Necessary for Practical Purposes of 3DLiving, is Secondary to that of The ALL Important Primary (Primal 🤔 ?) Connection that They Share with Each Other while Many Others would have become Irritated, Frustrated and Annoyed by The Behaviours of Their Soul Spouse

    1. Thank you Rudi, it is fun when the birds come to me. The blue herons have so much patience, they stand perfectly still for a long time.

    1. Yes, I do enjoy foggy mornings Gary, it puts a new perspective on what we see especially when the sun is trying to sneak its way through. 😊
