First Snow Up North
First Snow Up North, I wrote on my calendar that the first snow in 2023 was in November. But it isn’t anything that is going to collect on the ground, yet.
It is that time of year. 🙂

Definitely a chill in the morning air these days – won’t be long before we are packing up and heading south.
We are in Georgia right now, just saw my first spoon bill and stork. Going to the nature preserves. Alligators as well.
I did hear there was some snow but more like traces … but still. I am hearing a warmer-than-usual Winter season except for February (cold/snowy/icy). Ugh. It was 80 Monday and in the 70s Tuesday and today in the 60s … slowly back to reality I guess.
Love that picture.
Gwen.
Thank you very much Gwen. 🙂
I’m still waiting for the first real day of Fall. Should be about another week. Still 90 degrees until then… (We have two consecutive summers where I live in Texas. The first is May through July. The second is August through October. It is actually just six months straight of summer. Not good.) Snow sounds really good about now.
Yes, we are in Georgia right now and it is so hot here. It says 85, but feels more like high 90s in the sun. Up home in Michigan it was a beautiful 50 degrees. I do like the 50s.
AMEN 🙂
I am sure there are some people who are not looking forward to that first snow!
I used to love that first one. Refreshing after a hot summer.
🙂
Pretty picture, Sandra
Thank you very much Don 😊
I can’t wait to see more posts like this.
Thank you 🙂
