Finally Photographed a Bird

Finally Photographed a Bird

Finally Photographed a Bird – This is the first bird photo I have taken in quite awhile. I have not seen many on our travels this fall.

This is a mockingbird that sat very patiently in this holly tree. I love that shot with the red berries and blue sky with the bird.

Hopefully I will be seeing more birds again soon

  1. Very nice photo Sandra and the background and berries enhances the photo. That’s a nice Christmas photo sitting on the Holly bush. We had a Mockingbird at Council Point Park one Winter. The older guy who I walked with and has since passed away, was determined to find out what it was. I Googled a bird site and found about a half-doze gray bird possibilities. He went to a bird book and found out it was a Mockingbird right away.

  2. Nice picture! I never seen a mockingbird yet. I don’t think they are up north. We have had a surge a pigeons because a yahoo thought it was a good idea. But pigeons aren’t as pretty or as cool as mockingbirds

    1. Thank you Mary, this mockingbird liked sitting at the top of this tree, he had a good view all around from there. πŸ™‚
