Feathers From Heaven, I was reading a blog a few days ago by Wayne with Tofino Photography. He takes wonderful photos of wildlife, especially Eagles and he was talking about eagle feathers. To find a tail feather on the ground of an Eagle brings good luck.

I had mentioned to him that I have never picked up a feather of any kind. I never really looked for them or see that many. Well, I was sitting on my porch yesterday, just enjoying the beautiful weather, when all of a sudden this feather, this one feather floated down in front of me, ever so gentle, it floated down before me. Not one bird in sight above me.

I picked up this beautiful feather, amazed at the thought that I have never seen a feather fall from heaven. This one feather, one thought, expands my belief of what is possible.

A feather falling from heaven, is one we rarely see, but this one is quite different, for it is very special to me.

  15. I ditto what Linda, up close is the way to look at a feather. I see God the Creator in a feather, light enough to carry weight, strong enough to lift above the earth, beautiful enough when gathered together earthly man wanted to use them to enhance their looks. Lovely post

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and photos!!.. when I see a feather, especially from a migratory bird, I always wonder what adventures the feather knew, what exotic places the feather may have been… if only the feather could talk, or perhaps it is a good thing the feather cannot talk….. 🙂

    This feather is special,It was meant for you and only you. Do not allow anyone to touch it and keep it in a safe spot under lock and key.
    Next full moon place it under your pillow. Sleep alone too btw.
    The best place for this would be in a remote cabin away from anyone else. Isolate yourself from others and electricity If you can.
    Do this and tell me how your dream was?

    1. It was amazing to see Wayne, I was just sitting there and there was no wind and I saw something up in the air and kept watching it, until I realized it was a feather. No birds anywhere, I went over and picked it up and I have it in a jar now.
      I will do that Wayne, I am in a remote spot in a cabin. With only my dogs here now.

    1. Yes, it was so amazing to watch it float down to the ground and because there wasn’t a bird anywhere, makes one wonder how far and where it came from.

  26. Feathers have always caught my attention. They have an even more special meaning now that I am alone. I have kept them as I find them, safely in a cup behind my monitor. A reminder of special things.
