Cumulus Clouds

Cumulus Clouds

Cumulus Clouds are clouds which have flat bases and are often described as “puffy”, “cotton-like” or “fluffy” in appearance.

They are my favorite type of clouds to photograph especially with potential rain in the area. Have a wonderful weekend. 🙂

  1. Wow I love these!! My favorites clouds as well 🙂 Where did you take them? Very impressive and beautifully striking 🙂

  2. I love this type of clouds that look like cotton balls and take on the most diverse shapes.
    Beautiful photographs.
You have a wonderful weekend too

  3. The second photo from the top especially caught my eye with the yellow tinted clouds. Beautiful and made me want popcorn with butter. I think I need to make breakfast. Hugs Sandra. Thank you for sharing as always.

    1. You are very welcome, yes these are some beautiful clouds right before a storm at sunset. I do love watching clouds. Have a great weekend Dave.

  4. These type clouds are very impresive to see and to photograph. When I lived in a hight tower I made pictures of the waether on every occasion. Some of them were beutiful. These clouds are so impresive that not even an amateur like me could not make a nice picture of them.
