Crossing the Mackinaw Bridge
Crossing the Mackinaw Bridge – I went across this bridge a few times back when I was about 6 years old, traveling with my grandparents.
Now, 50 some years later, I finally crossed it again. Amazing how some structures can last about a life time. I don’t remember crossing the bridge at that age, my sister says we did a few times
I have to say, as an adult, I did not like crossing the bridge. I have a bit of a fear of heights these days. That bridge is a long one and you are so close to the edge of it with a short railing on each side.

After we got to the other side, I was good, we camped at a park on the south side of the bridge and this is the view the next morning at sunrise.

Interesting read! Probability plays such a big role, even in seemingly random games. Seeing platforms like jlph63 online casino prioritize secure, localized payment options (like GCash!) is smart for Filipino players. Accessibility matters!
Wonderful pictures, Sandra! I, myself, can’t drive over Big Mac, but even as a passenger, I could never determine what was worse… Driving along the railing or over the grids. However, one Labor Day Weekend, I chased away my fear and walked across the bridge and even stepped one foot onto the grids. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Wow, that is pretty good Mary. I dont think I could walk across. I know many people have. 🙂
Thank you Sandra. Have a great weekend
Thank you RJ. 🙂
I totally agree. I hate crossing long bridges. 🤣😎🙃
This one is nerve wrecking for sure.
It is very scenic but I’d be leery of crossing that long of a bridge, with those short rails. The video makes it appear you are a few inches from the edge. No wonder they have escorts available to drive you across if you’re unsure you want to do it yourself. I only went across once each way with my parents, back in the late 60s.
