Christmas in the Park

Christmas in the Park

Christmas in the Park; Bringing some holiday cheer. Christmas is a time of year where I find time to reflect on years past and present. It reminds me to think; “What’s Your Purpose in Life”,

Christmas in the Park

An age-old question that each of us tries to answer throughout our lives. In the cycle of life that whirls around us like a wheel from the time the Sun rises to the time the Sunsets.  We only have two absolutes to work with to answer that question;

Birth and Death an absolute that cannot be changed.

Male and Female an absolute that cannot be changed

Christmas in the Park

These are two absolutes that exist within our spirits that made us who we are.  If you try to alter the absolutes. All one is doing, is trying to create life, by changing the Laws of absolutes.  We all create an alternative reality that shines brightly in our eyes, like the moon at night, to displace the darkness that engulfs us all.

To give our lives meaning.  We run to and fro from one event to the next event in our lives picking up colorful jewels to hide our hurts.  That overtime lose their luster.  Then we look for other jewels to mask our hurts from prior events.  So, others cannot see.  We create a pseudo reality from the colorful jewels we clothe ourselves with.

This happens to so many people this time of year. Getting lost in the things of this world. Trying to become something they are not, trying to become what others say they should be like. I know, it happened to me years ago.

So, to answer the question, “What is my Purpose in Life?”.

I walked back one year to the Garden of Trees and sat in silence so that I may hear.

I am the One that created you, I gave you my life, my breath within you. I gave you words within you to raise yourself from the dead to become like one of us.

I do not deny the One who created me. Cut out the middle man, the serpent that blocks your eyes to the One that created you.  That will only happen when your desire to live overrides what man told you on how to live.

  1. I will never know the plan of the great I Am until that moment when I meet them for judgement. That being said I only see one purpose in my life; To see everyone I meet smile or laugh. If I can do that I will at least feel that I am a success.

    1. That I believe is your purpose Mr. Ohh, it is a gift you have and it changes the world around you to bring smiles to so many. Sometimes it is just that simple. 😊

  2. I need to find a way to get some of those lighted swans in my stream, those are gorgeous. I’ve had a lot of time to ponder the purpose in/of my life during my many training runs. I’ve logged a lot of miles and every run I come back with a different answer – the fascinating element is how those answers change as we mature. A truly thought provoking post.

    1. Yes, they would make a great yard light for sure. I know what you mean Brian, it is one of the hardest questions many of us try to answer. Sometimes I think I should be doing more but as I get older I believe I am doing what was put in front of me. A journey it is. 🙂

  3. I loved that you went to the park to find yourself! These days it is absolutely necessary to do just that! Among the hubbub of so many and the expectations of so many we all tend to forget to just be who we are. Thank you sharing!

    1. You are very welcome, yes going back to nature is my go to for relaxing and resetting everything that life distracts us with. Thank you.

  4. “Male and Female an absolute that cannot be changed.” You’d be hard-pressed to find someone in the trans community to agree with you on this. I am old school LGB (the B), and if I am being honest I agree with you (as do many of the old school community). I personally don’t think the Quality Assurance Department in Heaven employs the lazy type to keep putting souls in the wrong body.

  5. “Male and Female an absolute that cannot be changed” You’d be hard-pressed to convince the Trans crowd on this line. Although if we’re being honest I agree with you. Not everyone in the old-school LGB community (too many letters these days) believes the T and I folks should be included. Sex and sexuality aren’t the same.
