Can You See the Light

Can You See the Light

Can You See the Light – as I am walking in the forest the Light is trying to get my attention ever so softly. Peaking around the trees, flashing in my eyes every now and then. As if it is trying to get my attention, but I just keep on going.

Can You See the Light

How about now, the Light says, do you see me?

As I squint looking in the direction of the light beams dancing amongst the leaves.

But I turn my head and keep walking.

Can You See the Light

How about Now? I stop and look and am amazed at all the beams of light, as if like arms reaching out towards me. The Light begins to warm the forest with bright beautiful light. But I have an agenda, I have to keep walking to get to the end of the trail.

How About NOW

I stop in my tracks as I cannot stop looking at this beautiful Light reaching out to all of nature around me and warming my heart. Yes, I see the Light, I feel the Light. The end of the trail is right here. I don’t have to keep searching. πŸ’•πŸ˜‰

        1. That is a good idea, right now I am making you tube videos that go along with some of my post so you can see where I was when I took the photos. I always add a link when I do that. 😊

  2. Your awareness, Sandra – enhanced by your photography – is a lesson for all of us not only when out in the woods or mountains, but just walking in our own neighborhoods.

    1. Thank you very much, I appreciate that. My photography teaches me new things everyday. I see things so differently. I enjoy sharing them also. We all can see something different in a photo that can touch ones heart or just make us smile. Have a wonderful weekend. 😊

  3. It is strange sometimes that when we have our own agenda we will miss out on something beautiful right in front of us! I loved this post- both the extraordinary photographs and the words! πŸ’•

    1. Yes Susan, there are a lot of distractions in the world that can interfere with all the beauty around us if we let it. Have a wonderful weekend. 😊
