Campground Cat
Campground Cat – This cat has grown up here at this particular campground that we are at. People take care of it all year. She lives outdoors and the campground has boxes made for the cats to sleep in and get out of the bad weather.
All the cats here have been fixed and they get flee and tick medicine. They also catch rats and snakes. This cat caught a huge rat and left it by our camper. Good Kitty. 🙂

Definitely a great relationship for all involved! Cats are natural hunters and love nothing better than chasing down rodents and animals who are invading their turf. When I lived in the country, I had an excellent hunter cat who came indoors when he felt like it and ate the majority of his kills, leaving four feet and a tail for each gift he gave us. He’d be so proud when I would thank and praise him for his hard work. At full growth, he was 20 pounds of silent orange muscle on the prowl. Being a front declaw (done before we adopted him) never hindered his abilities and he never lost a battle with the raccoons, snakes, and turkeys. He had a punch like Jack Dempsey and gave me more than one black eye when I tried to keep him inside for his safety. He would have loved this campground arrangement!
Thank you for sharing. Yes, this campground has about 8 cats. This one loves to visit with folks, the others keep their distance. But they are always present. One of the workers here at this campground takes care of them all the most. The cats know him and follow him when ever he is out. He feeds them and takes care of their needs, like fleas and tick. We have had rats dropped off by our camper by this white cat. Must be showing us his good works during the nights. 🙂
For sure! And also that he likes you a lot. Only cool people get cat gifts. He wants to impress you.
I think so.
For a campground cat, he’s not very scruffy. Folks must take good care of him 🤣😎🙃
Yes they do, this one loves to be brushed but she won’t let you pick her up, she has her limits. 😀
Well she certainly earns her keep there. She’s very pretty and how nice to drop off a rat as a present for you taking her photograph. 🙂
How cute, love the way it wraps its tail over the paws. Probably a seasoned exterminator as well!
Yes she is. 🙂
A beautiful cat. Gorgeous pictures
Thank you very much 🙂
Excellent work, Sandra, and cool story. Good Kitty looks healthy and content. Probably gets a lot of attention. We had an outdoor cat like that once many years ago. Left gifts by the back door.
Thank you RJ, the people take real good care of the cats around here and the cats do a good job them selves. Taking care of other things that cats like to do..
What an aborable kitty. Wonderful portraits.
Thank you Tim.
Very pretty. And very well fed! 😊
Yes she is. Well fed from lots of folks. 🙂
