Beautiful Morning
Beautiful Morning at one of the campgrounds as we head south. It is very dry here in Iowa, as most areas in the mid-west. Harvest season is in full motion. The combines are out everywhere. They are working on the bean fields first and then moving to the corn fields.
Finally some cool nights this month, long time coming I say. I like the evenings when they are in the 50’s.

Do they still have travelling families who help people with their harvest? My cousins would travel the mid-west hauling their combines from one town to the next, wherever they were needed, but that was 50 years ago.
I have always loved my time in Iowa as I have driven from Minnesota through Iowa. I love the rolling hills and the beautiful sunsets, and all the farm land.
It is a beautiful part of the mid west. Thank you Stephen.
