Beach Fishing
Beach Fishing – this is just a random guy fishing on the beach. He ran over to his fishing pole when I quick got my camera out to see what he might have caught.

It looks like a pompano fish, even folks walking by had to stop and take a photo.

This may be the first time I have ever seen an actual fish being caught from the beach beyond a nurse shark snagged in Port Aransas. I can’t help but think of lost hooks whenever I see rods in the beach.
Yes, i would not want to swim out there. Because the lines do break.
But are you fishing for something?
That’s interesting they are able to fish that close to the beach and get a fish that big. I always take a photo if someone gets a fish as I cross the overlook – there are lots of fishermen on there and the Detroit River boardwalks.
Yes, they can only throw that line out so far. But the fish like coming in closer to the beaches. More food maybe..
Maybe people are feeding the fish snacks (or feeder fish).
Thank you very much RJ. Have a wonderful day.
Thanks Sandra. Surf fishing is an entirely different kind. A lot of fun and often with surprising catches. Great pictures!
