Artwork In Nature
Artwork In Nature, this morning there is a bit of humidity outdoors and on my way back from my early morning walk, the sun started to makes its way through the trees and light up all the different cob webs hanging in the forest next to the path.
I did not even notice them until the sun touched them all and boy there is lot of them. One would not want to walk in the forest on a cloudy day. Good thing there are paths everywhere to walk on.
Nonetheless, they are very artistically made by the small creatures of the woods.
Now this little guy may look like a spider, but it is actually a crab on the beach.

Thank you π
I’m no fan of spiders but their webs are beautiful and intricate. I had a huge brown spider with a funnel-type web which he wove but he lived behind the siding as I walked into the garage. He’d dart out on the web and scare me and there was no other way to get into the garage and to the car without passing this beast. I did watch him from a few feet away as he trapped and wrapped a fly in his web.
They are quite amazing, as long as they stay outside. π
Agreed! I’m nervous reading about this huge new breed of spider that is yellow and as big as the palm of your hand. It is called the “Joro Spider” and has been found on the East Coast already. Luckily it is not aggressive or poisonous, but still ….
You saw what most people miss and figured out how to capture their beauty so that you could share it. Thank you.
You are very welcome, thank you. π
Thank you for sharing great photos dear.
Hello gorgeous π the beautiful smile you are wearing on your profile picture πΌ hold my attention while checking on my friends posts, my name is Terry from Seattle Washington. How are you keeping over there hope fine? It’s a pleasure to have you here!!!!!!
Very cool looking crab – perfectly camouflaged with the coloring of the sand. Your spider web shots are beautiful and make me cringe at the same time – reminds me of all the webs I have to run through when I am the first person out on the trails – That old Far Side cartoon with the spiders creating a web at the bottom of the slide and one says “If we pull this off, we’ll eat like kings!”
I know, the sun lit up the forest and they were everywhere. π¬
Those webs are awesome artwork
Yes, so many different kinds. π

Hello Mr Ohh, hope you are doing well. Have a wonderful day. π
Glad you’re back π
Thank you, it was strange not having internet but it was nice and peaceful also, not watching any news.
I bet Last year I took a vacation on my porch and completely disconnected. It was strange but wonderful
πππ
Lol, it is cheaper for sure that way. π
Cheaper with less distractions and closer to the fridge! πππ
How did you even SEE that crab? He blends in so well!
Yes, the only time I saw them is when I got close to them and they would take off running. π
They probably could have pinched you instead. You never would have seen it coming! π¬
Amazing shots.
