Black Bear Trail Cam Video
Black Bear Trail Cam Video – here are a few more photos of last years younger black bear that came to visit with his mom and this years young bear.
I added a short clip from my trail camera of the bear that visited this year below. This clip is not on You Tube so there isn’t a link to it. You would probably have to click visit page in reader to see this clip. It shows the young bear and how it stands up to check out the empty feeder.
Below is what happened when the bear finally saw me. I did not know they could run that fast.

What a cute bear – reminds me I need to get back out to Yellowstone and pay them a visit!
Yes, I have never been there. But I have seen some amazing photos from others.
You must be having so much fun watching this guy, Sandra. I would have a hard time staying away from the windows to watch his antics.
Yes, I love it when I get a chance to see wildlife like this. Some years I don’t see any bears at all. 🙂
That is cute with its tongue hanging out and I still think it looks almost human when it stands up trying to slurp the hummingbird nectar. I wouldn’t think that nectar smells to draw its attention. That video was interesting as well – lots of furry visits at night too. I like how you captured it running so quickly, even sideways. I would not have thought a bear could run like that quickly either.
Thank you Linda, yes it sure ran faster then I thought it could.
I always think of a big bear as lumbering through the forest not looking like it is running a marathon!
Gorgeous bears!
Thank you 🙂
Amazing photos & video!
The young bear is at ease in your garden. He shows off, because he knows he’s being filmed.
I think so, he posed so nice for me, like he did not have a care in the world.
They like the hummingbird food. Excellent photos.
Thank you very much Tim 🙂
These photos delight me, Sandra. Thank you for posting! I enjoy black bears in my yard, too., and never tire of their antics. Bears are so nimble and agile despite their size. And they can run up to 30 miles an hour!
I did not realize they could run so fast, they seem to lumber along when walking. 🙂
At least the bear ran quickly away and not towards you. 😉
Yes, I am sure I could not outrun a bear after seeing how fast they really go.
You don’t have to outrun the bear, just the slowest person in the group.
Lol, so true.
Terrific series of photographs and video!
The bears are quick and also very quiet when they walk. After all, they’re bear-foot. (Sorry.)
Lol, that is a good one and oh so true Wally. 🙂
They are very special animals!
I think so as well 🙂
Well captures Sandra. Was the bear hoping to get food from the bird feeder ? It seems strange that it would want that. Interesting that it returned during the night.
Yes, his first visit there might have been some food in there. As soon as I know a bear is here, I stop feeding the birds, but the bear will keep coming back to check for a couple of days. I have not seen him now for a few weeks.
Wow! Gorgeous photos! I did not know they could run so fast either ☺️
Thank you very much 😊
J’aime beaucoup vos photos et vidéos. Merci.
Thank you 🙂
