All Creatures Great and Small
All Creatures Great and Small – I found this colorful bug in my marigold plants. It isn’t any bigger then the end of a pencil, the lead end of a pencil. But the bold red stripes caught my eye right away when I was about to water them. How unusual is this.
How many are your works, Lord!
In wisdom you made them all;
the earth is full of your creatures..
living things both large and small.
Along with this one below, it resembles a fly but again it is very very small and shined like gold on this leaf. Amazing what we might see when we look really close.

How colorful this first bug is and the other one would glow in the dark it would seem … no wonder you set the hose or watering can aside and ran to get your camera. Yesterday I saw something unusual. I was getting work done on my car and the tire store was located at a busy intersection. I was facing that busy street and all of a sudden this huge bug began creeping up the huge window. I recognized it as a “Walking Stick” – the first time for seeing this bug in real time, not just a photo of it. So, I went over for a closer look … it was huge with long legs, not menacing looking in the least. Of course, no means of taking its picture with no camera and a flip phone. Everyone was oblivious to this “stick bug” but me. π

You’re welcome
Nice macro/micro work. And good observations of something so tiny before the deluge of water (from the bug’s perspective).
Yes, I usually don’t photograph bugs, but this one caught my eye.

Amazing isn’t it, and it is so tiny, if not for the bold colors I would not have seen it.
