  1. Sandra.

    1. Thank you so much for your kind and beautiful thoughts, I have yet to hear the blue bird sing. They were to busy playing in the water. I hope to hear their wonderful song one day. 😉 Have a wonderful weekend.

  3. Beautiful pictures of the bluebird and its reflection in the puddle. I like seeing birds bathing in a puddle in the street, or under a lawn sprinkler. When the metal blinds still went up and down, we could look out and see my neighbor’s gutters. They are low down as she has only one short step to get into her house which has no basement. So, to our delight, we might be sitting at the kitchen table and see a bird nearly submerged in her gutters (which she rarely if ever cleaned so the water didn’t drain out). That bird would be splashing happily. I have never seen a Bluebird – I need to put it on my Birdie Bucket List!

    1. Yes, the puddles make the best spots for photos because of the reflections. How funny about the gutters. Perfect for the birds.

      1. Yes, it was a regular bathing spot … they’d come for a splash and dash. 🙂 I came home from walking a few years ago and the handyman was behind doing the gutters after the Maple seeds fell as we’d had a lot of rain. So I was in the queue for gutters but, I came home to find a dove splashing away in my gutters and I worried that it might pull the gutter down as it was already packed with Maple seeds, plus water.

    1. They are such a perfect color combination aren’t they. I don’t get to see them to often but today there were 6 of them hanging around the water puddle 🙂
