A Touch of Green

A Touch of Green

A Touch of Green and the sounds of spring await us as the earth awakens to new life after a long winter.

I love seeing things turn green this time of year, spring is such an encouraging month as the flowers emerge from the ground or ponds like these lilies.

The dried grasses in the fields return to their lush green colors, full of life for all.

Nothing says spring more than hearing the sounds of the Red Winged Black Birds.

  1. Those are beautiful photos of the Red-winged Blackbird. I always like how their body puffs up when they’re trilling. It is good to see green again – may be a while for our pond lilies though. Don’t want to wish my life away, but I hope we have finally gotten to temps resembling Spring. It was pretty today after six days of rain off and on, mostly on.

  2. I’m in love with this post and these pictures. You’ve outdone yourself, Sandra!

    Thanks for sharing these 💖

    1. Thank you very much Kellye, I think I did make a painting out of one of them. I will have to add it to another post. 😊
