A New Train to My Collection
A New Train to My Collection, I do love trains. There is just something about them, the power and the sound amazes me. The amount of weight they can pull and just the size of these giant locomotives, I am in awe of the construction of them. And they are really pretty when they are all cleaned up. So I have added this nice orange colored one to my collection.
The Red ones are always pretty when they pass by in the winter.
Now, I took this one a while ago. It look kind of plain in this photo. It was a very gray day and snowing heavily. But, I like to create art work via the computer. I can not paint or draw but an app called Photoshop allows me to let my imagination run wild and create what my mind imagines.
So, I took the photo above and put a new sky on it below. The sky part of the photo is a photo I took also at my sister’s farm. On a cold winters day, it is fun to create artwork of your own.

Nice post Sandra with those vivid colors!ππ
Thank you Cindy. π
pleasure! π
belli!
I treni hanno un fascino particolare.
Mi piacciono molto quelli di una volta, con le linee piΓΉ romantiche di quelli attuali.
These are beautiful Sandra. How cool and amazing that you edited the sky so beautifully making the already beautiful picture even more awesome!
Thank you very much, the gray winter sky was so plain. It is fun to be a little creative even with photography.
I like the orange train, but I liked your red train in the snow as well. I remember when you did the original post. Very cool what you did to change the train’s surroundings – clever what you did there Sandra!
Thank you Linda, when the weather is bad outside that is when I can use my imagination on the computer and have some fun with the photos.
That’s right – always be thinking about what you’ve seen … it makes the time til you can go out again go by faster.
What a clever artistic lady you are Sandra !
Thank you so much, I appreciate that π
you love the trains. You have a beautiful collection
Thank you very much, π

I love your collection of trains! It reminded me how I find them so fascinating.
They are something, I love the sound of them going down the tracks as well. π
Great pictures. Here late in life, I am just starting to notice trains. Too bad we have moved so far away from using them. Much less cost and pollution than millions of trucks.
Thank you Ron, yes they have been around for so long and very few are running anymore so I like to take photos of them when I see them.
Nice!
Thank you DC, π
Love the added sky.
Thank you Sherry, I thought it went well with the train. π
Great images of these mastodons of trains. Very impressive and also beautifully photographed!
Thank you so much, I find locomotives to be so unique and massive. So much power and they can be very colorful π
Cool pictures, There isn’t much Man-Made I pay attention to but you have made these monsters kind of beautiful

Laugh on the even and odd days, You can cry on the other ones
I know what you mean Mr. Ohh, I have always been fascinated by the giant locomotives. So much power and to see them pulling a long line of cars, quite the engineering. π
Howdy: On my blog, I have a picture of the last Engine to, pass on, through, Peoria Hiehts, Illinois. It was right on the back side of our property at the time. Now the railroad tracks are all gone and we have a bicycle/walking/running track in its place. THE ENGINE WAS BLUE.
So very cool, I hope the trains don’t disappear completely. They are an engineering marvel to me, just the sheer size and power they have. π Thank you.
Amazing work on Photoshop. And i love trains…
Thanks, Sandra. Have a nice day.
Thank you very much Francine, a wonderful day to you as well π
Now that’s something new! They look amazing on white background. Do you have a railway close to you?
Thank you Jo, there isn’t one real close. I photographed the orange train when I was leaving a park. I always have a camera with, just in case.
That’s a good idea. π Having a camera on you, that is.
It’s always amazing what a photographer with a trained eye can do.
Thank you very much Herb.π
