What Do You See

What Do You See

What Do You See, As you may notice, I don’t have one certain subject that I photograph. I take photographs in the moment, picking up a camera can actually make you see things completely different. Making me slow down and enjoy looking at something as simple as frost on the windows.

What Do You See

I took these photos yesterday morning when it was 3 degrees outside. I sat down at my dinning room table and went to look out the window and this is what I saw. I sat here in deep thought looking at this art work on the window, beautiful art work that made me feel warm, (mainly because I was on the inside), but this art is only here for a few seconds. Mesmerizing to me as it slowly disappears in the morning sun light.

We each have different desires, memories, personality types, and artistic preferences. These differences will drive our connection with various art-forms. Artists have no control over this, nor should they. We create work that moves us and inevitably, we hope this work will find other kindred spirits.

What Do You See

Remember, your photographs are capturing a moment in time. That will never be duplicated. Each one is a piece of art, creation, you and I.

When you clothe yourself with the Words of the Father, Your Beauty will shine from within.

  1. Beautiful photos! Love the frosted windows! It kind of makes me wonder if this is what ice formation looks underwater. 😊

  2. I saw Jack Frost’s etchings on my neighbor’s garage one day when I returned from walking. I didn’t want to go into his yard, but should have because they were beautiful with the sun glinting on them. These are very pretty and delicate Sandra.

    1. Thank you very much Michele, I love hearing what others see when looking at a photograph like these. Because then I see it also from your description. 😊

      1. Another perspective is that, living in the Sonoran Desert, I only see icicles when I am in the high country. I love the stories that photographs tell. Yours are vivid and captivating.πŸ’–

  3. I see the Master Artist displaying such perfection on your window, a Gift sacred indeed for you to sit and stare at and to capture too. Even ice crystal so tiny by itself collected with others formed this art. I feel the Sacred and the Divine through your words and your images, Sandra. Yes you are shining! Glorious to behold! xo

    1. Thank you very much dear Amy, the world of beauty created by the one who is and always will be the one we can trust and go to to find our peace.

  4. Beautiful! I remember an east facing window of ours that iced up with the sun shining through! So amazing that ice can take the shape of plants. I also see what looks like satellite photos looking down from on high to the Earth below, with the dark places along the big opening that appear to be many rivers and inlets along an ocean.

  5. I like these frosty windows a lot! I am fortunate to have still one window in my house, where these magic plants growπŸ˜‰.
In the first picture I see beautiful ferns that just pushed through the earth and came out and extend themselves towards the sky!

  6. In the first pic I see frozen grass. In the second and third, an angry cat. And in the fourth that the cat is really angry, probably meowing at the winter to go away. πŸ™‚
