Only the Chickadee Today, strange weather we have been having lately. Rain and freezing rain, so a lot of the birds are hanging out in the forest except for these little ones. There is still some snow on the pine trees in the background making for a nice backdrop to the photo.

The chickadees are so cute and I like the last picture the best, a cute bundle of fluff.
They are so cute, they are the first ones to the feeder also.
I love Chickadees I especially love the way the dart in, take a seed, and dart back to the trees again. They are fun to watch

Oh, these are so precious! I love both the buzzing ‘chick-a-dee dee’ they chirp and their ‘see-saw’ mating call. It looks fat and sassy thanks to you. 🙂
I love their singing also Mary. They are getting quite friendly at the feeder. They are perched on the pole sometimes when I am loading the feeders. I love getting that close to them.

Here also DC, but those little chickadees are much faster than the big birds. They have no problem getting a bite to eat. 🙂

I do indeed appreciate our stalwart little chickadees. Sometimes they are our only winter visitor.
It never fails to see them at the feeders. They are the first ones there and the last ones also. 🙂

I was just wondering that, someone else said they have mountain chickadees. So I figured there must be a few different ones but had not looked it up yet. 🙂

They are cute, indeed. ❤️ Is that their adult size? We don’t have them here. The closest to it is the sparrow.
Yes, they are a little smaller then the sparrow. And so fast for.a tiny bird.🙂

Love the Chickadee! My favorite winter bird. I get Mountain Chickadees in my neck of the woods.
