I Am Not Babysitting All of Them

I Am Not Babysitting All of Them

I Am Not Babysitting All of Them, that is what I picture the one Pelican is saying surrounded by all these little bobble heads. Or, ” What are these things?” πŸ™„

I Am Not Babysitting All of Them

Then two more Pelicans join the group, but decide that taking a nap like all the others looks like a good idea.

  1. Oh I laughed out loud when I read your title then saw the first picture. I could see a humorous and delightful children’s story growing out of these pictures titled The Day the Pelicans Babysat the Seagulls.

    1. That would be such a good book for the children. And the pelican, to me, had a look in his eyes, like he had no idea what all these little white things were. Wildlife can be very humorous at times. Thank you Beth. πŸ™‚

  2. Sandra, those Pelicans seem so at peace being in the midst of the gulls, and the gulls so at peace with them. Is this the case?

    1. Isn’t it something Don, yes, you often find them hanging out together in large groups like this. There were actually more pelicans farther down out of the photo. The Pelicans just walk amongst them like they are all one big happy family.

  3. Wow, even the Pelicans have blended into the group of cotton balls! Great funny story, Sandra! Wonderful pictures too. This is the 21st or the 22nd chapter of their adventures, I don’t know. Let’s us make it their first for 2021.
